Welcome to the DOT Oral Fluid Collector Training Course
Successful completion of this course and the scheduled proficiency demonstrations will provide collection personnel with the training to become proficient in DOT oral fluid specimen collections for drug testing in the workplace.
To become qualified as a collector, you must be knowledgeable about Part 40 regulations and DOT agency regulations applicable to the employers for whom you will perform collections, and you must keep current on any changes to these materials.
You must also (1) successfully complete a qualification training program (this video series) and (2) pass a monitored proficiency demonstration, as required by DOT regulations [See 49 CFR Part 40.35 (b-c)].
The Proficiency Demonstration (mocks) can be scheduled at the conclusion of this online course.
